General Manager
MetFin Shotblast Systems (www.metfin.com) is a growing company, producing heavy duty industrial machinery and material handling systems for manufacturing facilities around the world. To continue our growth, we need to add strength and experience to our senior leadership team.
As the General Manager you will report directly to the owners of MetFin and be responsible for all operational components of the business, including developing and executing strategies to grow the company. You will work with the owners and leadership team to develop long-term plans and annual budgets, plus you will be responsible for ensuring that the company meets its financial and operational targets.
In addition to your financial and business acumen, you must be an excellent communicator and leader, with the ability to motivate and inspire our team of capable leaders that manage the various aspects of the business, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, service and finances.
Most important will be your high integrity and strong customer focused ideals, as these are the hallmarks of our organization, and our competitive advantage in the marketplace. They must continue to be demonstrated from the top of the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the company’s vision and objectives. Develop strategies to ensure the various departments’ goals are aligned.
- Oversee a team of managers, setting clear expectations and providing feedback, coaching, and mentorship for professional development.
- Create an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation and creativity
- Approve and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resourc
- Develop policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve quality.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, solicit feedback and address concerns.
- Foster positive relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
- Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and commitment.
- Experience
Required Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible management roles.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A work history that shows stability and commitment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing or Industrial machinery industry.
- Experience with budget development and financial analysis.
Pluses
- Knowledge of shotblast machines or the abrasive blasting process.
- Industrial equipment sales or manufacturing experience.
